1. Auxiliary Nurse Midwife existing (ANM)
No. of Post : 181 [UR-95, SC-12, STP-17, STH-9, OBC/MOBC-43]
2. Staff Nurse
No. of Post : 446 [UR-230, SC-31, STP-44, STH-22, OBC/MOBC-106]
3. Staff Nurse (Critical Care)
No. of Post : 292 [UR-28, SC-38, STP-54, STH-27, OBC/MOBC-130]
Eligibility Criteria of DHS Assam Recruitment
Age Limit : Candidates age should not be less than 18 years and not more than 40 years as on 01-01-2024:
Age Relaxation : Upper age relaxation will be as mentioned below.
• OBC/MOBC : 3 Years
• ST/SC : 5 Years
• PwD : 10 Years
Educational Qualification :
1. Auxiliary Nurse Midwife existing (ANM) : ANM Training passed from Assam Govt. Institution or Institution recognized by Indian Nursing Council and Assam Nursing Council and must be registered under Assam Nursing Council with Employment Exchange registration of Assam.
2. Staff Nurse : GNM Diploma / B.Sc (Nursing) Degree from any Institute / Nursing College recognized by Indian Nursing Council and must be registered under Assam Nurses’ Midwives’ & Health Visitors Council along with Employment Exchange registration of Assam.
3. Staff Nurse (Critical Care) :
a) GNM Diploma / B.Sc (Nursing) Degree or above from any institute / nursing college recognized by Indian Nursing Council and must be registered under Assam Nurses’ Midwives’ & Health Visitors Council along with Employment Exchange registration of Assam.
b) Applicant should have experience of working in ICU (Intensive Care Unit) at least for a period of one year.
Employment Exchange Registration Certificate: The candidates must possess valid Employment Exchange Registration Certificate of the State of Assam.
Application Fee : No fee is required to be paid.

i) Preference to contractual employees etc. - Preference shall be given to contractual employees under NHM, Assam and other societies under Health & Family Welfare Department, Assam who apply for any post under this advertisement.
