General category candidates must have been born between 02 March 1996 and 01 March 2006 (both dates inclusive).

Educational Qualification

A graduation degree in any discipline from a university recognised by the Government of India is required. Candidates must hold a valid mark sheet or degree certificate at the time of registration. If your university awarded CGPA or OGPA instead of percentage marks, you must convert it to percentage and mention it in the application form.

Work Experience

This is the most important eligibility requirement for this recruitment. Candidates must have a minimum of 18 months of post-qualification experience as an officer in a Scheduled Commercial Bank or a Regional Rural Bank (RRB). The experience must be branch-level officer experience. Present employees of Punjab & Sind Bank are not eligible to apply.

CIBIL Score

Selection Process

Selection will happen in three stages. The final merit list will be prepared by combining 70 percent weightage from the written test and 30 percent weightage from the personal interview.

The exam is conducted in bilingual mode — English and Hindi — except for the English Language section. Candidates must score minimum qualifying marks in each section to be called for the interview. The written test score out of 120 will be converted to a score out of 70 for final merit calculation.

Stage 2 — Personal Interview

Candidates who qualify in the written test will be called for a personal interview. Interview marks are out of 50, which will then be converted to a score out of 30 for the final merit list.

Stage 3 — Local Language Proficiency Test

This test is conducted along with the interview and checks the candidate’s ability to read, write, and communicate in the local language of the state they applied for. Candidates who have studied Punjabi in Class 10 or Class 12 are exempted.
