All three posts carry the same age requirement. Candidates must be between 18 to 28 years of age. The cut-off date for age calculation is the closing date of online application, which is 07 July 2026.

BMI must be proportionate to height and weight as per standard medical norms. Candidates must not have knock knees, flat foot, varicose veins, or squint in eyes.


Selected candidates will be placed in Pay Level-5 of the 7th Central Pay Commission Pay Matrix, which means a basic pay of Rs. 29,200 to Rs. 92,300 per month. In addition to the basic pay, candidates will receive all standard Central Government allowances including House Rent Allowance, Dearness Allowance, and Medical Benefits. Selected candidates will also be covered under the National Pension System (NPS) applicable to all Central Government employees joining on or after 1 January 2004.

CISF will conduct the selection process in the following stages:

The written test will be conducted for 100 marks to be completed in 2 hours. The paper will be objective type with multiple choice questions in both English and Hindi. There is no negative marking. The number of candidates shortlisted for the next stage will be approximately 5 times the number of vacancies.

Candidates who qualify in the written examination will be called for height, chest, and weight measurement as per the physical standards mentioned above.

All original certificates related to age, education, caste, and other relevant documents will be verified at this stage.

This test assesses the candidate’s basic aptitude and suitability for the specific paramedical post applied for. The BVAT is qualifying in nature.

Candidates who clear all previous stages will go through a Detailed Medical Examination (DME). If a candidate is declared unfit, they may request a Review Medical Examination (RME) within 24 hours by giving written consent.

The final selection list will be prepared category wise (UR, SC, ST, OBC, EWS, ESM) based on the aggregate marks obtained in the written examination and the number of vacancies notified.

Fee can be paid online through Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card, Rupay Card, UPI, or through cash at SBI Branches by generating an SBI Challan. Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.

Step 1: Visit the official CISF recruitment website at https://cisfrectt.cisf.gov.in

Step 2: Click on “Login” and then select “NEW REGISTRATION” to complete the One-Time Registration. Keep your mobile number and email ID ready.

Step 3: Fill in all personal details exactly as mentioned in your Matriculation (10th Class) certificate. Any mismatch in name, father’s name, mother’s name, or date of birth may lead to cancellation of candidature.

Step 4: After One-Time Registration, log in with your Registration ID and Password and click on “Recruitment of Paramedical Staff in CISF 2026” tab.

Step 5: Fill in the online application form with all required details including educational qualification, sports achievements if any, and contact information.

Step 6: Upload your recent passport-size colour photograph (not more than 3 months old, with date printed on it, 20–50 KB in JPEG format) and your scanned signature (10–20 KB in JPEG format).

Step 7: Upload scanned copies of Date of Birth Certificate, Matriculation/10th Certificate, and educational qualification certificate in PDF format (not more than 1 MB each).

Step 8: Click “Save and Preview” to review all filled details. Click “Final Submission” to submit the form.

Step 9: Complete fee payment if applicable through online mode.

Step 10: Take a printout of the filled application form and retain it for future reference. Note down your registration number for all future communications.

Important: Applications received through any mode other than online will be summarily rejected. After final submission, no changes will be allowed under any circumstances.
