Step-by-Step Guide to Fill the Examination Form
Follow these steps carefully as mentioned in the official Annexure I of the notification:
Step 1 — Log In Visit https://gauhati.samarth.edu.in and log in to your student account using your registered credentials.
Step 2 — Go to Examination Registration After logging in, click on “Examination Registration” from the left-hand panel on your dashboard.
Step 3 — Open the Examination Form Click on “Click here for Examination Form” to proceed.
Step 4 — Select Your PwD Status Select your PwD (Person with Disability) status from the drop-down menu. If you do not belong to the PwD category, select “Not Applicable.”
Step 5 — Verify Your Courses Check all the courses listed on the form carefully. Courses will only appear for those students who have successfully completed the Course Registration process as per the notification issued by the Academic Registrar, Gauhati University.
Important: Students who have not completed Course Registration must not proceed further to pay the examination fees.

Step 7 — Make Payment Click on the payment link “Click here for payment via Razorpay” and pay the required examination fee amount as shown on the screen.
What to Do If Your Form Shows “Draft” Status
This is a common issue students face after making the payment. If your form status remains as “Draft” after paying the fee, do not panic. Follow these steps inside the portal:
Dashboard → Fee (left-hand panel) → All Transactions → Check Payment Status
If your payment was successful, the form will be automatically submitted after you click “Check Payment Status” and a green confirmation message will appear at the top of the screen. The same option is also available on the last page of the form submission.
Important Instructions for Students
- Do not refresh the page while completing the payment transaction, as this may cause the form submission to fail.
- Only students who have completed Course Registration will be able to see their courses and proceed with the examination form.
- Fee once paid is non-refundable. Make sure all your details are correct before making the payment.
- Keep a screenshot or printout of the successful submission confirmation for your records.
- Admit cards and attendance sheets will only be generated for forms that have been verified by the college. Ensure your college completes the verification process by 13th May, 2026.
