This job is basically about two things — handling transactions at the branch and managing investor interactions. The person selected for this role will be responsible for processing investor transactions correctly and on time, and also for solving any issues or complaints that investors bring to the branch.

Coordination with Internal and External Teams You will regularly coordinate with banks, the sales team, and the head office for transaction-related matters. You will also build relationships with service providers like transfer agents, couriers, and bankers at the local level.

KYC Processing You will handle KYC applications received at the branch, process them within the given guidelines, and make sure no KYC is rejected from the KRA’s end.

Customer Service and Complaint Resolution You will interact with investors, distributors, and relationship managers and resolve their queries related to mutual fund services. You will also monitor complaint resolution time and escalate cases where required.

Investor Retention You will actively work on retaining investors whose SIPs are about to expire and communicate with them regarding transaction rejections in a timely and professional manner.

Branch Administration and Record Keeping You will maintain proper records of all service and operational activities. You will also coordinate with the branch manager, vendors, and the zonal admin team for billing and branch expense payments.
