Educational Qualification Required
For Technical Officer (TO-1 — Physics/Electronics):
- B.E. / B.Tech. in Electronics, Electronics and Instrumentation, Electronics and Communication Engineering, or Electrical and Electronics Engineering with minimum 55% marks
- OR M.Sc. in Physics, Electronics, or Applied Electronics with minimum 55% marks
- From a recognized university or institution
For Technical Officer (TO-2 — Computer Science):
- Candidates should hold a B.E., B.Tech., or M.Sc. degree in Computer Science from a recognized university with at least 55% marks.
- OR Applicants possessing an MCA degree, including an Integrated MCA programmed, with a minimum of 55% marks are also eligible to apply.
- From a recognized university or institution
For Technician (1) — All Trades:
- 10th Standard (SSC) with Science subjects, minimum 55% marks
- AND ITI certificate or National/State trade certificate in the relevant trade
- 10th pass with 2 years of apprenticeship training in the relevant trade.
- OR 10th pass with 3 years work experience in the relevant trade under a Government Ministry, Department, PSU, or Autonomous Body

Age Relaxations Available:
- SC/ST candidates can avail 5 years of age relaxation for reserved posts.
- OBC (NCL) candidates: 3 years relaxation
- PwBD candidates: 10 years relaxation (15 years for SC/ST PwBD, 13 years for OBC PwBD)
- Ex-Servicemen: as per Government of India rules
- Widows, divorced women, and women judicially separated: up to 35 years (40 years for SC/ST)
- CSIR/Government employees with 3 or more years of service: 5 years relaxation

Selection Process — No Interview
This is a direct appointment recruitment. There is no personal interview round. Selection happens in two stages:
Stage 1 — Trade Test (Qualifying) All shortlisted candidates will be called for a trade test relevant to their applied post. This test is qualifying in nature — you need to pass it to move forward but marks from this stage are not counted in the final merit.
