About This Role — What You Will Be Doing
This role involves managing infrastructure and facility projects from planning and design to execution and final handover. The selected candidate will work closely with internal teams, contractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Design and Planning
- Lead complete design development of warehouses, fulfillment centers, and supporting infrastructure
- Handle civil, structural, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) scopes
- Prepare technical specifications and Bills of Quantities (BOQs)
2. Budgeting and Approvals
- Build detailed cost estimates and capital expenditure (CAPEX) budgets
- Track actual spending versus plan and flag any variances early
- Handle statutory approvals including Fire NOC, Pollution Clearance, Building Plan Sanction, Factory Licence, and Electrical Inspectorate clearances
- Work with the Business Finance team on ROI modelling and budget justification
3. Execution and Project Management
- Coordinate with local site teams, contractors, and consultants across multiple locations
- Build and maintain project schedules, manage critical paths, and proactively raise risks
- Visit sites regularly to check quality, safety compliance, and progress
- Oversee snagging, commissioning, and formal project handover with proper as-built documentation
4. Vendor and Procurement Management
- Work with the Procurement team to identify and onboard vendors, PMC consultants, and OEM vendors
- Track vendor performance against SLAs, quality standards, and delivery timelines
5. Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate closely with Operations, Procurement, Business Finance, and EHS teams
- Present structured, data-backed updates to leadership on project progress and key risks
