How to Apply – Step by Step

First, visit https://nats.education.gov.in and complete your NATS registration. Your profile must be 100% complete before you can proceed.

After that, log in to NATS, find The New India Assurance Company Limited, and click the Apply button.

Note your NATS Enrolment Number carefully.

Now go to https://beep.bfsissc.com and log in to the Candidate Login section. Fill in your personal details, NATS enrolment number, education information, and select Assam as your preferred state.

Upload all required documents in the correct format. Pay the exam fee online. Submit the form and save your registration number. Keep checking beep.bfsissc.com regularly for admit card and exam updates.

Documents Required

Aadhaar Card, recent passport-size photograph in JPEG format under 1 MB, graduation degree or provisional certificate in PDF under 1 MB, Class 10 marksheet for date of birth proof, Class 12 marksheet, all semester-wise graduation marksheets, CGPA conversion certificate if applicable, caste or category certificate in Central Government format, PwBD certificate if applicable, and EWS Income and Asset Certificate issued after 31 March 2026.

Why You Should Apply

NIACL apprenticeship is one of the better options available right now for fresh graduates wanting to enter the insurance sector. The training is under an official government scheme, so the certificate you get after 12 months carries real weight. The Guwahati Regional Office covers Northeast India, so there is a good chance of a posting close to home for Assam candidates.

The stipend is reasonable for a training role, and the experience inside a large PSU insurer is excellent background for government exams like LIC AAO, NIACL AO, and GIC Scale officer exams. The written test covers only General Awareness, English, Aptitude, and Computer Knowledge — nothing too technical or specialised.

Who Should Apply

Fresh graduates who completed their degree between January 2022 and June 2026, fall within the age limit, and have no prior apprenticeship experience should apply. No specific graduation stream is required, so candidates from arts, commerce, science, or any other background are all eligible.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

Do not apply if your NATS profile is not 100% complete — incomplete profiles are automatically rejected. Select only one state and choose carefully because it cannot be changed after submission. Double-check your graduation result date before applying. Keep checking beep.bfsissc.com for updates because exam links are posted there, not always sent by email. Upload your photo in JPEG under 1 MB and your degree certificate in PDF under 1 MB. Never pay any fee to a third party — all payments are made on the official portal only.
