Lower Division Clerk (LDC): Class 12 or 10+2 pass from any recognised board is the minimum education required for this post.. Along with this, a typing speed of 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi on a computer is required. The typing test allows 10 minutes and is calculated at an average of 5 key depressions per word, which equals 10,500 KDPH in English and 9,000 KDPH in Hindi.

Hindi Typist: Same as LDC — Class 12 pass with the same typing speed requirement of 35 wpm in English or 30 wpm in Hindi on a computer.

Civilian Mechanical Transport Driver: Candidates must have passed Class 10 (Matriculation) or an equivalent exam from a recognised board or university. A valid civil driving licence covering both Light Motor Vehicles (LMV) and Heavy Motor Vehicles (HMV) is mandatory. Candidates must also have professional skill in driving and knowledge of motor mechanism, with a minimum of two years of driving experience.

Minimum Age: 18 years Maximum Age: 25 years

The age is calculated as on the last date of receipt of the application.

Age Relaxation:

  • OBC candidates: 3 years relaxation
  • SC and ST candidates: 5 years relaxation
  • Physically Handicapped (PH) candidates: 10 years relaxation
  • PH candidates from SC and ST category: 15 years relaxation
  • PH candidates from OBC category: 13 years relaxation
  • Ex-Servicemen: Deduction of full period of military service from actual age, subject to the resultant age not exceeding the maximum prescribed age by more than 3 years

The complete selection procedure for this recruitment is divided into the following stages:
