Educational Qualification
Candidates must hold a graduation degree in any subject from a recognised university or college approved by UGC or AICTE. The result must have been declared on or before 01 April 2026, and the date of passing should not be more than 4 years old, meaning your graduation marksheet should not be dated before 01 April 2022.
Language Requirement
Candidates must be proficient in the local language of the state they are applying for. For Assam, the accepted languages are Assamese, Bengali, and Bodo. You will need to show your Class 10 or Class 12 certificate as proof of having studied that language, or you may be required to appear for a language proficiency test.
Who Cannot Apply
- Anyone who has already done an apprenticeship with Union Bank of India or any other organisation before.
- Candidates who have one year or more of work experience after completing their graduation.

This is an apprenticeship, not a permanent job. Union Bank of India has no obligation to offer you a regular employment after training ends. The training is purely for skill development and building experience in banking operations.
Candidates will not be provided with hostel, transport, or residential facilities. Labour laws including PF and ESI do not apply to apprentices. Apprentices are not allowed to form or join any union body.
Posting will be done anywhere within the selected state at the bank’s discretion. If you want to leave during the contract period, you can only exit at the end of a calendar month.
Candidates must produce their Aadhaar number before signing the contract.

- Then register on the NATS portal at nats.education.gov.in and note down your Enrolment ID.
- Now visit the official application link at https://beep.bfsissc.com/candidate_register/mkt or go through www.unionbankofindia.bank.in/recruitment.aspx
- Fill in your personal and educational details carefully.
- Upload all required documents in the specified format and size.
- Enter your NAPS Registration Code and NATS Enrolment Number where asked.
