About the Job Role
This is a full-time remote position where the selected candidate will work as a real-time communication bridge between two individuals who speak different languages. The interpreter will be responsible for accurately conveying spoken content from one language to another during live telephone and video conversations.
The candidate will be required to listen carefully to what each speaker says, interpret the message with precision, ask for clarification when needed, and always remain neutral and impartial throughout the conversation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Listen carefully and interpret communication accurately between two individuals speaking different languages — for example, from English to Tamil or from Bengali to English and vice versa.
2. Maintain a neutral and impartial stance throughout every conversation without expressing personal opinions or taking sides.
3. Ask relevant questions when clarification is needed to ensure accurate interpretation.
4. Follow all standard operating procedures set by the organisation and the client process.
5. Maintain confidentiality of all conversations handled during the shift.
Languages Required
Candidates must have excellent spoken English along with fluency in at least one of the following languages:
